The Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) is delighted to announce the launch of a major new aspirational catering brand - Dean & McPherson Creative Catering Group – as the public face of a major expansion of MVRC’s catering and events services.
This new in-house Catering Group, to be known as Dean & McPherson, is a determined push into new premium off-course markets and will allow the MVRC to further leverage its considerable catering and event expertise, capacity and experience to a broader corporate and private audience.
Dean & McPherson is setting out to become a globally sought-after hospitality provider showcasing innovative, leading-edge catering solutions.
The first partnership to be announced by the new venture is with the world-renowned PGA TOUR. Dean & McPherson will be the official caterer of the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf tournament at The Metropolitan Golf Club on 21-25 November 2018, and the official caterer of the 2019 Presidents Cup to be held on December 9-15, 2019, at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

To begin this new venture in partnership with the PGA TOUR to provide hospitality to world-class Melbourne events including the 2018 ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf and 2019 Presidents Cup showcases the quality offering that the Dean & McPherson Creative Catering Group can provide,” said Browell.
The new brand will be notable for its inventive contemporary menus, wide choice of both food and beverage, and highly trained staff. With a smart, upmarket and contemporary look and feel, Dean & McPherson will immediately take its place on the shortlist of leading catering providers in Australia.
