We ask our General Admission guests to simply be dressed in neat casual attire.

This Members Dress Code guide should assist to clarify some of the common grey areas,
however MVRC reserves the right to refuse entry to any person considered inappropriately attired.

The dress code for ladies has been updated to reflect modern fashion and will apply to all MVRC race meetings.
While we are happy to embrace change we are committed to keeping our Members’ Areas stylish and classy.

    Dress Code only applies if you are accessing the MVRC Members Reserve. A neat casual standard of dress applies in General Admission areas.

    MEN

    Gentlemen (including children 13 & over) can now wear neat polo shirts, denim jeans and shorts (no rips), tailored shorts and smart casual shoes in the Members’ Reserve at The Valley. Collared shirts with tailored trousers or chinos are also permitted. No tie is required, and suit coat, sports coat or blazer is optional.

    NOT PERMITTED: Sandals, thongs or any dilapidated footwear. Ripped denim jeans, denim jackets, jodhpurs, shirts without a collar, parkas, windbreakers, tracksuits, jackets including bomber jackets, duffle coats, untailored leather jackets, peaked caps, beanies, pullovers or cardigans without a jacket, sporting guernseys.

    WOMEN

    For all relaxed race meetings ladies can now wear smart casual shoes and denim jeans. The MVRC are a progressive club and has adapted it’s dress code to suit current fashion trends. Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard of dress in keeping with the distinction of the Members’ Reserve.

    NOT PERMITTED: Rubber thongs or any dilapidated footwear. Ripped denim jeans, denim jackets, jodhpurs, parkas, windbreakers, tracksuits, jackets including bomber jackets, duffle coats, untailored leather jackets, peaked caps, beanies, sporting guernseys, any clothing revealing excessive bare midriff.
