Headlining the day is the 105th running of the Ladbrokes Cox Plate, where the best weight-for-age horses battle it out over the famous 2040 metres. Who will join a legendary honour roll that includes Winx, So You Think, Kingston Town, Tobin Bronze, Tulloch and Phar Lap? It’s also a historical moment, with this year’s race day marking the last on the current Valley track before the next chapter begins. It’s a full day of entertainment both on and off the track, with live music, roaming performers, food outlets and bars spread throughout the course.
