The Spring Racing Carnival kicks off at The Valley with a huge day of Group 1 action, headlined by the Charter Keck Cramer Moir Stakes. Get set for a fast-paced showdown as some of Australia’s top sprinters take to the track.&nbsp;Off the track, it’s a great day out for families. Kids can enjoy free entertainment, including carnival rides, a magician, balloon artists, face painters, Crossword the pony, and games hosted by Kelly Sports. Moonee Valley Racing Club:&nbsp;<a href="https://goo.gl/maps/W5HAjYBsrKz">Feehan Avenue, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039</a>CAR: The Centre Car Park is located in the centre of the race track. Car park entry is via Gate 7 on Wilson Street (near freeway) or Gate 6 on Dean Street. There will also be several dedicated car park spots at the Centre Car Park for those vehicles displaying a disability parking permit.Note for members: MVRC Members can access the centre car park via Gate 7 on Wilson Street or Gate 6 on Dean Street on a raceday, with a dedicated Members' area located near the centre turnstiles. On non-racedays, a designated Member/Visitor Car Park will be located in the Horse Float Car Park near the Main Gate on Feehan Avenue (previously McPherson Street), with walking access to the administration building.TRAIN: Craigieburn line from Flinders St Station, stops at Moonee Ponds. MVRC is a 10 minute walk down Puckle Street.TRAM: No.59 tram from Elizabeth St arrives directly at Moonee Ponds junction. MVRC main entrance is a 200m walk.TAXIS: Taxis can be located after the races on Feehan Avenue. DRESS CODE - RELAXEDDress Code only applies if you are accessing the MVRC Members Reserve. A neat casual standard of dress applies in General Admission areas.MENGentlemen (including children 13 &amp; over) can now wear neat polo shirts, denim jeans and shorts (no rips), tailored shorts and smart casual shoes in the Members’ Reserve at The Valley. Collared shirts with tailored trousers or chinos are also permitted. No tie is required, and suit coat, sports coat or blazer is optional.NOT PERMITTED: Sandals, thongs or any dilapidated footwear. Ripped denim jeans, denim jackets, jodhpurs, shirts without a collar, parkas, windbreakers, tracksuits, jackets including bomber jackets, duffle coats, untailored leather jackets, peaked caps, beanies, pullovers or cardigans without a jacket, sporting guernseys.WOMENFor all relaxed race meetings ladies can now wear smart casual shoes and denim jeans. The MVRC are a progressive club and has adapted it’s dress code to suit current fashion trends.
