Grand Final Eve tees off at The Valley on Ladbrokes Manikato Stakes Night

Get set for an electric evening at The Valley on Grand Final Eve with Ladbrokes Manikato Stakes Night on Friday, September 27.

It’s an exhilarating night of Group 1 racing under lights like no other, boosted by the arrival of a brand-new, high-energy entertainment zone, Fairway Beats & Eats.

Fairway Beats & Eats will see The Valley’s infield reimagined into a haven for golf enthusiasts as they swing and putt their way to glory at Lights Out Golf, with plenty of fantastic prizes up for grabs from sponsors including Ladbrokes, Drummond Golf and MGI Golf. The night will be capped off with a live full set from international superstar DJ, Topic. Fairway Beats & Eats will also offer a range of food and beverage outlets plus other entertainment throughout the night.

Lights Out Golf is a thrilling new golf experience featuring targets up to 40 metres away to test your chipping skills, while golf simulators will provide the excitement as players tee off in a battle for honours for the longest drive, all under lights.

There will also be the chance to win big and take home $10,000 at the Ladbrokes Legendary Putt. One shot, one opportunity to pocket cold hard cash by tackling the unique L-shaped hole that will challenge golfers of every ability.

German DJ Topic will perform after the last race on Ladbrokes Manikato Stakes Night exclusively in the Fairway Beats & Eats Zone. Topic has a string of worldwide platinum hits, including Breaking Me, which has amassed over six billion streams, Forget You, Your Love (PM), Home, I Adore You and My Heart Goes (La Di Da). The Valley will be his only performance in Victoria.

“We are thrilled to launch Fairway Beats & Eats, a brand-new activation zone that will provide patrons with an incredibly exciting and unique experience unlike anything seen on track before,” Troy Ratcliffe, General Manager Marketing & Communications, Moonee Valley Racing Club, said.

“The Valley is renowned for its pulsating night racing, and the Ladbrokes Manikato Stakes meeting is one of the biggest and best of the year, with the cream of Australia’s sprinters lining up for the $2 million purse.”

In addition to the electrifying racing and entertainment, Moonee Valley Racing Club is thrilled to announce its Grand Final Eve ambassador, Norm Smith medallist Bobby Hill, for Ladbrokes Manikato Stakes Night.

‘’It’s a great concept, you’ve got quality racing, then a party zone in the middle with Fairway Beats & Eats. If you love your golf, you’ve got to check it out. Good food and music as well,’’ Bobby Hill said.

Tickets for Fairway Beats & Eats are $65, which includes discounted entry to the event, food and three beverage vouchers, access to all golf activations, free merchandise, plus prime position for Topic’s post-race concert. Tickets available now at thevalley.com.au
