Winx reacquainted herself with The Valley on Tuesday morning as the finishing touches are put on her campaign to create racing history.
Just 11 days out from her attempt at a fourth Cox Plate win, Winx enjoyed a three-quarter-pace gallop under Hugh Bowman before finishing off her work strongly in an effort that clearly pleased her trainer Chris Waller.
"Winx worked over 1200 metres at three-quarter pace and then breezed up over the final 400 metres where she went through her gears nicely and was full of running at the completion of her work," Waller reported in a statement on Tuesday.
"Hugh Bowman was very complimentary of how she felt and he was extremely pleased with where she is at leading into the Cox Plate.
"It is our intention to take her to the Breakfast with the Best at Moonee Valley next Tuesday as we have prior to each of her Cox Plate victories to date."
