TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY.
Information on how to enter the competition and the prize form part of these conditions of entry. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency these terms and conditions shall prevail.
1.Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years of age or over.
2.Employees and immediate families of the promoter are ineligible to enter the competition.
3.The promotion commences on Friday 19th July and concludes on Friday 18th October 2019
4.Each week there will be one sub winner who will receive 2 general admission tickets to the 2019 Ladbrokes Cox Plate.
5.The main prize is awarded to the person who has been allocated the saddle cloth number of the 2019 Ladbrokes Cox Plate winner as of the declaration of correct weight.
6.The entry barrel will be emptied after each weekly draw.
7.Multiple entries are accepted but each entry must be on a separate & original entry form.
8.Entries must include a full name, address and phone number for the entry to be valid.
9.The promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries.
10.Any entry form that is tampered with, damaged, defaced, forged, uncompleted or mutilated will not be accepted as a valid entry.
11.Prizes won as part of this competition are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
12.The main prize will be decided upon completion of the Ladbrokes Cox Plate on Saturday 26 October 2019 at Legends, Corner of Wilson St & Thomas St, Moonee Ponds, Vic, 3039.
13.Total of major prize is valued at $2040.
14.The first valid sub entry is drawn on Friday 19th July at 8pm and will continue on each Friday at 8pm thereafter up until the major prize is awarded on Saturday 26 October 2019.
15.Prize winners will be notified by phone call and have their name added to the saddle cloth wall located in the foyer of the venue.
16.In the instance of a dead heat, the total prize money will be split evenly amongst each winner.
17.In the event of a scratching when there are no emergencies, the entry will be forfeited. When there are emergencies and scratching’s, the lowest numbered scratched saddle cloth will be replaced by the lowest numbered emergency. If a horse is scratched and not replaced by an emergency, the entry will be forfeited.
18.The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
19.All entries become property of the promoter.
20.The promoter reserves the right to require the winner to provide proof of age, identity and residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
21.Details of entries may be entered into a database and the promoter may use the entrants’ names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes unless opt out box is marked.
22.Entry of the competition constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions. The promoter is Moonee Valley Racing Club Inc trading as JLegends, Corner of Wilson St & Thomas St, Moonee Ponds, Vic, 3039.
23.The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence or communication will be entered into.
24.Entries are issued for food and beverage purchases only.
