New Maintenance Facility – now approved!
Planning approval was received at the Moonee Valley City Council (MVCC) Meeting on the 28thFebruary 2023 .
The decision is an important milestone for MVRC’s redevelopment program following the approval of the SUZ Masterplan in October 2021. The upgrade and renewal of MVRC’s Maintenance Facilities is critical to the long-term future of racing at the Moonee Valley Racecourse. The proposal includes a new integrated and sustainable warehouse and office building in the southeast corner of the racing precinct. The proposal presents a highly considered design response that respects the streetscape character along Dean Street.
