Moonee Valley Racing Club Inc 
Notice is now given that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of Moonee Valley Racing Club will be held on Tuesday 16 November 2021 commencing at 12.00 pm (AEDT).

Meeting Location
The Committee resolved to hold this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Members via a virtual platform.

The decision for an online AGM was guided by the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions and the Club prioritising the health and safety of its members. The Club continues to closely monitor the advice of government health authorities and always acts to put the appropriate safety measures in place.

AGM start time: 12:00 pm AEDT Tuesday 16 November 2021

Registration opens: 9:00 am AEDT Saturday 21 August 2021

You will be able to login one hour prior to the meeting at 11:00 am.

Items of business

  1. Confirmation of the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting, held 17 November 2020.
  2. Consideration of the accounts of the Club and the audit report for the year ended 31 July 2021.
  3. Election of Committee Members 
    The following Committee Members retired in accordance with the Rules and were eligible for re-election:

    • Mr. Don Casboult
    • Mr. John Blight
    • Mr. James Hogan

    No other members of the Club were nominated for election. Therefore in accordance with Rule 8.6 (2), the above three candidates shall be declared elected.
  • Election of Auditors in accordance with Rules 7.1 (3)(d)
    The present Auditors, Ernst & Young, are eligible for re-appointment and have indicated their desire to continue in the role, if appointed.
  • Special business of which notice has been given in accordance with the Club Rules 7.1(3) (f) and Rule 7.4 (5).
  • General business.

MVRC invites Members to submit questions prior to the meeting at membership@mvrc.net.au These will be answered during question time.

If you have a question that you would like to ask during the meeting, a link will be provided that enables you to submit your question once you successfully register above. These questions will be moderated and passed on to the MVRC Committee and Executive to answer at the allocated point during the meeting.
