All-Star Mile A COVIDSafe Event

Moonee Valley Racing Club is delighted to advise that the Victorian Government has approved our Tier 1 COVID Safe Event Plan for the All-Star Mile on Saturday 13 March at The Valley. Tier 1 events allow for a crowd greater than 5,000.

All-Star Mile Day at The Valley will be divided into two distinct zones:

(Movement between the two zones is not permitted, and unreserved ticket holders cannot access reserved spaces. Tickets will not be sold at the gate, and all Members must pre-register to attend.)

 

Zone 1

Zone 1 is a mix of Members enclosures, dining and function Rooms.
Entry to this zone is via Tote Park Turnstiles (McPherson Street) and the Centre (infield).

Dining and Function Rooms
Dining and function rooms within Zone 1 provides a booked room or seat for the day within these allocated areas:

  • Celebrity Room (Owners)
  • Committee Room (Private Function)
  • Cox Plate Room (Private Function)
  • Dining Boxes - Kingston Town, Phar Lap & Tobin Bronze (Sold out)
  • Inner Circle (Sold out)
  • Jockey Bar Dining (Sold out)
  • Members Carvery (Sold out)
  • Sunline Suite (Private Function)
  • The Lodge (Private Function)
  • Valley View (Private Function)

Members Unreserved Enclosures
MVRC Members must pre-register to attend the race meeting within one of the unreserved Members enclosures, which provides access and movement within Zone 1 and access to the food, drink, and betting facilities within the zone. It does not provide a reserved seat; however, a selection of limited unreserved seating will be available.

The available unreserved Members enclosures include:

  • Members Deck Bar - Ground Floor
  • Octagonal Lounge - Ground Floor
  • Parade Bar - Ground Floor
  • Level 1 – Mounting Yard Bar - Level 1
  • Market Place - Level 1
  • Members Front Lawn

Capacity limits and density quotients apply in each of these rooms and are subject to available space. Once these areas reach capacity, you will be directed to an alternative Members unreserved enclosure.

  • Please note that Members Level 2 has been sold to Members as a dining package and cannot be accessed unless you have pre-purchased a ticket into this package.

 

Zone 2 is a mix of general admission spaces, private functions and the All-Star Party.
Entry to this zone will be via the Coates Street Gate (off McPherson Street) and the Centre (Infield) Turnstiles.

Private Functions
Private Functions within Zone 2 provides a seat for the day within these allocated areas:

  • Champions Room (Private Function)
  • Ladbrokes Lounge (Private Function)
  • Saintly Suite (Private Function)
  • All-Star Party (Sold out)
  • Garden Suites (Sold out)

General Admission
General admission within Zone 2 includes access to the Burston Lawn, Burston and Upper Burston Grandstand seats, Tulloch Bar and Western Concourse areas.General admission tickets will allow patrons to move freely within Zone 2 without having to book a seated space.

Please note there will be very limited unreserved casual seating available within this zone.
Capacity limits and density quotients apply in all outdoor areas. Once the Burston Lawn reaches capacity, patrons will be directed to sit in the Burston and Upper Burston Grandstand Seats’ unreserved area, which again are subject to capacity limits.
