Rhys McLeod - Mahamedeis (2nd): "He's run super, under the weight-for-age conditions it was a great run."
Craig Williams - Best Of Days (3rd): "He ran well second-up but the winner was just too good."
Jordan Childs - Surprise Baby (4th): "He ran super. He missed the kick a little bit and was beaten for a bit of speed early but I ended up getting a nice run throughout and I thought he hit the line really well."
Jye McNeil - Sikandarabad (6th): "We ended up a fair way off them today but I thought he was the best closer in the race. The way he was finishing off, I was rapt with his effort."
John Allen - Kenedna (8th): "She just raced a bit dour today, she hit a flat spot down the side and a few got up underneath us and carted us very wide on the corner but she actually hit the line pretty well after that so it was a pass mark."
Mark Zahra - Yulong Prince (9th): "He went good. He's looking for further, probably 2000m, but he got to the line well."
Peter Hall - Trap For Fools (11th): "He felt really good but going to the front probably didn't really suit the pattern for the day."
Mick Dee - Beau Balmain (13th): "That was very disappointing. It was a test to see if he was up to that but he was disappointing."
