Georgina Cartwright wins at The Valley
The apprentices shone at The Valley on Friday night, winning four of the eight races on the card in impressive fashion
Chelsea Hall opened the night with a victory on the Matt Laurie-trained Algadon Miss in the first race.

In race 2 it was apprentice Georgina Cartwright who summed up the 3000m race perfectly to win aboard $14.5 pop Alienated for trainer Cliff Murray.

In-form apprentice Jessica Eaton continued her consistent run, combining again with Robert Kingston's mare Esposito Gold to win over a mile in race 3.

Meanwhile, Lachie King was also an impressive victor on McGarrett in the Ladbrokes 55 second Challenge Heat 14.
The apprentice and the Magnus gelding had just missed out on winning another of the 55 second heats earlier this month at The Valley, finishing second, but were able to go all the way on Friday night.
