MVRC announces partnership with Alinta Energy

The Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) is delighted to announce a new three-year partnership with leading energy retailer Alinta Energy.

Alinta Energy will become the exclusive partner of the MVRC’s Chinese New Year race meeting for the next three years – with this year’s race meeting to be held at The Valley on Friday night.

The Chinese New Year themed race meeting began in 2016 and has since grown to become a permanent fixture on The Valley’s racing calendar, supported by Racing Victoria and the State Government of Victoria.

These fun and food-filled race nights combine night racing with a colourful and exciting celebration of the most auspicious festival in the Chinese calendar.

“This is a significant partnership announcement for the MVRC and we look forward to working closely with Alinta Energy on this terrific event,” says Michael Browell, MVRC CEO.

“We can’t wait to welcome new and returning guests to enjoy some fabulous food, entertainment and racing with us – and to wish the Chinese community ‘gung hay fat choy’,” says Browell.

Alinta Energy’s MD & CEO, Jeff Dimery, said, “We are delighted to partner with MVRC to celebrate Chinese New Year and look forward to a long and successful relationship."

Alinta Energy is a leading Australian energy retailer offering affordable electricity and gas plans to more than 1.1 million Australians.
