Price makes Secret Agenda call

Mick Price is opting to keep Secret Agenda in Melbourne to contest Friday's night Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley rather than sending her to Sydney for The Galaxy (1100m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

While the talented sprinting mare accepted on Wednesday morning for both feature races, Price made his decision later in the day.

"I've done my work [with Secret Agenda] for Moonee Valley … that's the race I pointed into," Price said.

"The Galaxy was always a maybe but I'd have to take a punt this afternoon on the weather.

"If it was Randwick and it was going to be a genuine Heavy track she'd be going to Randwick, she wouldn't be going to Moonee Valley.

"I just think they might not get the wet-trackers advantage by Saturday at Rosehill and she's ready for Moonee Valley so that's what I'm feeling."

The daughter of Not A Single Doubt drew barrier eight in Friday night's final G1 of the Festival of Racing and while 10 have accepted for the race, Supido, Thronum and Pariah have also dual accepted into The Galaxy and may not take their place.
