On Tuesday October 20 the MVRC will conduct the Barrier Draw for the $5 million Ladbrokes Cox Plate.
The Cox Plate is the only race in Australia where connections are invited to draw their own barrier but unfortunately due to COVD-19 this won’t be possible to do in our traditional way in 2020.
Instead the Club has partnered with Racing.com & RSN, to conduct this process live on TV & Radio from 8:30am. A representative for each runner will be provided and dialled by a Club representative in a pre-determined random order to choose their barrier selection.
